SYMPHONY OF NOISE – VR
VR Experience | Germany, UK 2019 | approx. 15 Minutes | Author & Creative Director Michaela Pňačeková
In SYMPHONY OF NOISE, you will undergo a sound transformation you have never experienced before. You will become a superhero, the conductor of the world. You will change the world through sound and conduct the world into your own symphony. Listen intently as ordinary sounds become music in your ears!
SYNOPSIS
Find the soundscapes of your life – step by step – from the first heartbeat to the chaotic sound of everything around you and gain the power to create the soundtrack of the world.
Immerse yourself in the world of sonic landscapes of Matthew Herbert in high-end sound design, where you can hear, see and feel sound in a way not possible before immersive technology – compose your own score.
Going through the VR experience, interacting with the sounds around one-self and within one-self, creating a score at the end of the experience, we learn to listen to the world differently. All sound is music. Every sound has a meaning and tells its own story. From the time we are unborn, then we are explorers of the world around us and we express ourselves without language – we listen, then we are being socialized, until we become one with the world. This is a story through sound.
Through the VR experience we will feel the whole existence: us, the world, the universe. In this experience, you go on a hero’s journey because you are the hero.
This is a journey seeking to bridge and explore the relation of the inside self to the outside through the medium of sound. It is a sonic virtual-reality experience that transforms how you perceive your daily reality.
